Play, Study, Win!

The PSW-SONYC (Play Study Win-School’s Out New York City) program at Salve Regina seeks to enable every child to “Play” – that is, participate fully in all opportunities. With increased access, every child can “Learn” – that is, gain necessary academic, social, emotional, and 21st Century skills. With access and skills, every child can “Win” – that is, realize each child’s fullest potential as an individual and as a member of a family, community, and workplace.

Play Study Win (PSW) has created our Leadership in Action Program model in response to feedback from young people, families, and school educators. The goals of the program are:

  1. Foster academic, social and emotional competencies and physical well-being.
  2. Provide opportunities for youth to explore interests and creativity.
  3. Build skills that support academic achievement and raise participant confidence.
  4. Cultivate youth leadership and community engagement.
  5. Engage families in support of the above goals.

The program provides FREE activities such as nutrition, STEM/Literacy, sports, dance/STEP, and homework time. The program operates Monday-Friday from 3-6pm (5:30pm dismissal).
