Monthly Collections

  • September, Lupus Foundation: We donated used textbooks.
  • October, Coat Drive: Donate gently used coats for families who are in need.
  • November, Food Drive: Every class will have a box in their classroom that they will decorate with their class and donate canned goods (non-perishable foods). These boxed foods will be given to neighboring churches that will prepare meals or baskets for people or families in need.
  • December, “Toys for Tots”: There will be a Christmas Tree hung in the gym where students and parents can choose an ornament which will have a child’s gender and age. An appropriate gift can bought and brought to school at a specified date.
  • January, Ronald McDonald House: Tabs from soda, juice, and bean cans are collected and brought to a Ronald McDonald House to support pediatric cancer patients and their families.
  • February, “Love Thy Neighbor”: We will collect needed items for the poor, homeless, and elderly. Items collected can be toothbrushes, hairbrushes, socks, etc…
  • March, “Pennies for Patients”: We will collect pennies every morning after prayers. At the end of the month, the pennies are blessed and sent to the organization.
  • April, Lupus Foundation: We will donate gently used chapter books, children’s books, etc… to the organization.
  • May, Sisters of Charity: A collection of baby goods is collected for unwed mothers such as bottles, wipes, pacifiers, diapers, etc…
